Hole # 18
This hole is like the kid you knew in school. He played hooky and was always in trouble. With an elevated tee to a forgiving fairway, this 430 yard dogleg left is no gimme. When a strong south wind blows, the creek down the left side of the fairway never lets up and is relentless.
Heading east, late in the evening, this gorgeous par 4 is picturesque with the tree shadows creeping toward the elevated green and amphitheater backdrop against the fluttering flag.
After a good drive, an accurate shot into the green is essential. Since the green tilts away from the clubhouse on top of the hill, it is best to stay short and left of the hole to have and uphill putt. Although, don’t forget about the kid who played hooky, there is a creek near the left side of the green.
